Katalin Angyal (nee Turk)

November 14, 1934 - September 10, 2025

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother who passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025 at the Extended Care Unit in Welland at the age of 90. Born in Hungary and came to Canada in 1957.

Dear wife of the late Istvan Angyal (1995), loving mother of Kathy (George) Somos, Clair (Julius) Angyal Juhasz, proud grandmother of Attila Somos, Christopher (Lauren) Somos, Leslie (Gabby) Bellon, Amanda (Alex) Bellon, great grandmother of Léa, Luca, Maeve, Leddie, Anthony, Austin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Beside her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, siblings, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ali and the staff at the Extended Care Unit  in Welland for their compassion and support.

A private family service will be held at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to our Lady of Hungary Church in Welland or to the Extended Care Unit in Welland.

May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts!
